Surface Design Show 2023
For the first time, Britannicus Stone was an exhibitor at The Surface Design Show at The Business Design Centre in Islington. We were part of the Stone Federation of Great Britain’s Stone Knowledge Hub.
We were also asked to be a part of the Stone Tapestry a unique natural stone installation created in partnership with the Stone Federation and leading architects, Squire & Partners.
As part of the installation, we supplied several of our stones of which two, Hopton Wood and Swaledale Fossil were chosen as feature stones for the display.
The main table display was made up of a patchwork of stones in several finishes and it was truly delightful to see how our stones changed personality depending on the finish. Polished, honed, feathered, sandblasted, ribbed, ridged and pillowed.
